We are delighted to welcome you soon to Hotel Number Nine, a boutique hotel in the heart of Florence.

In this guide we have gathered all the useful information to help you prepare for your arrival and to look after you to the very best of our ability throughout your stay, from our welcome services to the experiences available at House of Nine.

For any request before your arrival, our team is at your disposal and will be glad to assist you with care in organising your stay.

CHECK-IN

  • Check-in is available from 3:00 pm.

  • Should you arrive early, we kindly invite you to contact our Reception team in advance. We will be glad to assist you subject to availability and, should your room not yet be ready upon your arrival, we will take care of your luggage.

  • At check-in, a valid form of identification will be requested for each guest staying at the hotel.

  • Should you have any particular preferences regarding your room or any specific needs ahead of your arrival, our team will be glad to assist you subject to availability.

 

GETTING TO HOTEL NUMBER NINE

Via dei Conti 9, Florence

  • On request, we are glad to arrange a private transfer from any airport or station. Kindly let us know your arrival time, flight or train details, the number of guests and your luggage.

  • Florence's historic centre is a strictly enforced Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). We invite guests arriving by car to use our parking service at a nearby garage (€50 per day, including collection and return of the vehicle, and ZTL plate registration).

  • Only 5 km from the centre. The T2 tram reaches Santa Maria Novella in about 20 minutes (€1.70, every few minutes, from a stop two minutes from the terminal). Official white taxis offer a fixed fare of approximately €22–25, with a journey time of around 15 minutes.

  • Approximately 80 km away. We recommend the PisaMover shuttle to Pisa Centrale, then a direct train to Santa Maria Novella (around 1 to 1½ hours in total). For late arrivals, a private transfer is the most comfortable option.

  • Santa Maria Novella (SMN), Florence's main station, offers high-speed and regional connections to Rome, Milan, Bologna, Venice and beyond. From the station, the hotel is a short walk through the San Lorenzo quarter.

We will be glad to assist you in booking restaurants, museums, guided visits, private tours, wellness treatments and dedicated experiences at House of Nine.

To allow us to organise every request to the best of our ability, we kindly invite you to contact us in advance, indicating your preferences, the number of guests and your preferred date.

SPECIAL OCCASIONS

For birthdays, anniversaries, romantic stays or private celebrations, we can assist you with flowers, Champagne in your room, bespoke arrangements and other personalised touches.

Our team will be glad to help you create a special moment during your stay.

DURING YOUR STAY

FOOD

À la carte breakfast is served every day from 7:00 am to 10:30 am.

Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Daisy's Restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday, for lunch from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and for dinner from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. You may consult our menu on the dedicated page.

ROOMS

The room temperature is regulated according to the hotel's seasonal settings: 24°C during the summer period and 18°C during the winter period.

For specific requests regarding temperature, a preference between bath or shower, or any mobility requirements, we invite you to contact Reception before your arrival. Our team will do its utmost to assist you subject to availability.

4 LEGGED FRIENDS

Hotel Number Nine is pleased to welcome guests travelling with their dog. To make the stay even more comfortable, we provide a dedicated kit in the room.

We kindly ask you to let us know about your dog before your arrival, so that we can best prepare the room and, during your stay, coordinate the cleaning service according to your needs and those of your pet.

KIDS

Younger guests are warmly welcomed at Hotel Number Nine. Adjoining rooms and suites are available for families, and both full-size cots and portable "pack & play" cribs can be provided on request.

To make their stay memorable, we are glad to arrange family-friendly experiences — from cooking classes to arts and crafts and outdoor activities — while a trusted babysitting service can be organised whenever you wish a little time to yourselves.

CHECK-OUT

  • Check-out must be completed by 12:00 noon.

  • Should you require a later check-out, we invite you to contact Reception. The service is subject to availability.

  • Luggage assistance is always available. You may leave your luggage in our storage room until the time of your departure.
